Set on a steep-sloping, thick woodland site the design for a Children’s Centre at Cypress Infant School was conceived as a series of active landscape terraces hugging the contours of the site. The columns in the design became trees supporting a canopy of gently sloping roofs that provide cover over the stepped learning landscapes.
